i woke up at like 7.30am for church and i passed carrot the sizzlers christmas presents at church. thingOne was there too! was supposed to help debbie throw water on a guy but i missed! took a bus home after church and got ready for lunch. went to lei garden for lunch with my suitcase but i left my dress at home! i started freaking out but icks was soo nice! he cabbed to my hse to pick it up for me. thanks sooo much! i was supposed to take a nap cos i was dead tired but instead, i ended up going swimming. the pool was freezing!! icks wanted to know if it really was a mineral water pool so he drank the water (eewww!) and concluded that it really was mineral water. bathing with a bikini on is very very tough! we were in a rush so i took the shower and he took the bathtub. met rara then went to jasons. rara and icks both had dumb blonde moments in the supermarket and i am proud to say that i didn't! even the lady at the ham counter was laughing at them! i wanted to buy meatloaf and sara said,"how are we gonna cook the meatloaf?", my answer "meatloaf is already cooked! its supposed to be eaten cold!". icks said something really stupid too but i can't remember what it was. we bought yoghurt, ruffles, swiss miss, milk, ice, water, kickapoo, chocolate and cards. nicolaus arrived at 8.30pm but we were too hungry to wait for him so we ate first. icks cooked two types of pasta and rara cooked chicken drumsticks. nicolaus bought hyatt tiramisu! his friend arrived at 9pm+ and ian's friend arrived at 10pm+. i played tai tee with ian and rara. i won all three games. i played tai tee with ian, rara, daniel and i won 1 out of 2 games. nicolaus trying to play tai tee is very funny! him trying to fix a tv is even funnier!
they kept calling the operater like non-stop. once to bring up 5 extra towels, 2nd time to bring up 3 extra pillows, 3rd time to bring up 5 extra towels cos no one brought up extra towels the first time, 4th time to bring up a bottle opener for the bacardis, 5th time to fix the tv, 6th time to fix the tv again, 7th time to bring up a bottle opener for the champagne (which didn't need a bottle opener) and they even wanted to call for extra blankets! we are paying for the room but that doesn't mean you can make people rush around for you. they are not your servants and its quite sad that they have to work on new year's eve. you don't haffta make things harder for them just because we are fortunate enough to enjoy ourselves on new year's eve. oh and we shouldn't mess up the room cos we are paying people to clean it up for us. if cleaners get paid $6 an hour and they take 15minutes to clean our room then they are paid $1.50 to clean our room. we should make their job as easy as possible especially since they are working on new year's day.
the poor man couldn't fix the tv after running up and down twice so he brought up a working tv for us to use. we switched on the tv 5minutes before the count down and icks popped the champagne 10seconds too early. icks, rara, nicolaus, daniel, joel and i put our hands on the knife and cut the cake together. i went outside the room to look for the tv man so we could give him some tiramisu and icks followed me then something happened. i figured that if it really is gonna last forever then the something will eventually happen so i might as well make it happen at a perfect time such as new year's day. we did find the tv man in the end and we gave him a slice of tiramisu. after the count down, we cabbed to purvis street. i was stuck in a cab with the two biggest bullshitters and oh my! it was sooo funny!! nicolaus likes to say f*** a lot! we ended up walking to the pool place cos we went to the wrong pool place. met his friends landis and jermin at tcc and we sat down for a drink. they talked and they talked and they talked non-stop! and as usual, my stomach hurt from laughing. we walked back to the pool place and rara and i watched them play like ten games of pool! i thought they were gonna play like two games!!! i was bored to death and my stomach was painful! rara and i are very very hopeless at playing pool!! at 5am, they finally decided to stop and it took us half an hour to find a cab so we got back to the hotel at 5.45am!! after showering, i tried to sleep but someone was snoring soo loudly!! i don't know what time i eventually fell asleep but i woke up at 10am and went back to sleep till 10.30am then went back to sleep till 12pm. icks and i tried freaking sara out by pretending to make out under the blanket, it was sooo funny!! rara left and we lay in bed till 1.59pm then we scrambled to pack everthing. we checked out then i cabbed home and fell asleep.
i love you icks!! very very much! i guess i kinda realised it when i was sitting on the sofa and you were sitting on the floor in front of me. you looked at me and said something and in my mind i was thinking "gee, i am sooo lucky to have him". i really can imagine us doing grocery shopping together at 30 but i just don't want to get my hopes up too high. i don't want to be hurt again.
my reflection on 2006:
2006 was probably the worst year of my life. i have never ever felt so much pain before. i was miserable on new year's day 2006 and the misery continued till i met icks. i trusted you. you said that you would always love me and you would never leave me and i believed you but in one day, everything changed. you just "didn't love me anymore". you have no idea how much i suffered because of you! i knew everything abt my best friend for 3 years and in less than a month, i didn't know a single thing abt you. you changed soo much! and i personally think that you changed for the worse. well at least that phase of my life is over! icks, you are sooo special! meeting you was the best thing that happened to me this year. you brought me through Os and you really mean sooo much to me!

my new year's resolutions:
-make my life more Christ centred
-control my temper
-stop being soo lazy
ok so the 2nd one is a bit hard and the 3rd one is almost impossible. i know new year's resolutions are hardly ever kept but i really do intend on keeping the 1st one.
