woke up at 11.30am and rushed to pack for camp. got to kap at abt 12.55pm (i am never late!) then shiyou's dad sent us to st andrew's village. we got there at abt 1.30pm so we put our stuff in the dorm and went for worship. we were in group F and we met our group at worship. our group consisted of mark bala, debbie, bryan, melissa, andre, gabriel, neil, shiyou and me. after worship, there were very dirty games!! i will try to list them all if i can remember them
1. arranging the books of the old testament in order
2. crawling through detergent, water and egg then sticking our heads in chicken stock then running
3. some puzzle thingy
4. another puzzle thingy but everytime we got something wrong, a water bomb was thrown at us
5. trying to extinguish candles
6. running to a bar of soap covered in mud, grass and chilli sauce (i had to rub it on my butt, my forehead and my nose)
7. human bowling but it was sooo slippery, everyone ended up rolling in the mud after they slid across the mat covered in water and detergent
ok i can't remember anymore...basically, i was an absolute mess after the games! after we showered, there was dinner then night games. in the game, we lived in sing land where religion was banned so we had to complete tasks to either get a license or save our captured group leader. the tasks at the stations were almost impossible so we had to surrender items worth points (eg. handphone is 150 points) to get our next clue. every other group surrendered everything except their bibles. however, my group surrendered bala's mp3 first then 7 bibles. we went for supper after the game then bedtime.
monday:
i woke up at 4.45am!!! got ready then boarded the bus at 5.30am to east coast park. we had worship, quiet time and breakfast then visited Andrew and Grace home for teenagers. we cleaned up the home and there were an amazing amount of leaves on the ground!! arrived back at st andrew's village at 12.30pm then had lunch, worship and a workshop on the gifts of the holy spirit. i think the workshop was what i went to camp for. it was the most meaningful part of the camp for me. when the teacher asked everyone who wanted to be touched by the holy spirit to stand, i was very hesitant. i was sooo scared cos i didn't know what to expect. what if nothing happened? what if it wasn't what i thought it would be? but i stood up anyway. every single time a speaker asked that, i always wanted to stand but i never did so i figured that i couldn't miss another opportunity. when a lady prayed for me, i started crying and shaking uncontrollabley then shiyou prayed for me and i spoke in tongues! it was only a little bit and i had no idea what i was saying but it just kinda came out of me. after, i kinda just sat there quietly listening to the songs and shiyou went to pray for weilin. i don't really know where to go from here. if you know abt my past, you would know how confused i am. when the workshop was over, i showered and had dinner. there was a theme talk after dinner and ministry time. the pastor shared and we had worship during the time but i was sooo drained from the day that it was as though only half of me was there. i know thats really bad of me and i shouldn't have done that. after supper, slept at 2am that night.
tuesday:
woke up at 7.30am and had breakfast. packed my stuff after breakfast then we had quiet time. by the time i arrived for clean up duty, all the cleaning up was done already. so we had a debrief in the hall and we took photos!! took the bus back to barker and met icks! i missed him sooo much!! cabbed home, showered and went to british club for lunch. had an interesting conversation with shaun on msn...icks is really really sweet! shaun logged on to ian's msn so ian is shaun and i am :)

joshua and him came over to my place at 7pm and we had dinner. after dinner, they played doa with my sisters. we left the hse at 11.30pm. we told my parents that we were going to flow but instead, we went to kap and btp to play pool. i suck at pool and i looked like an idiot! i slept at like 3.30am!
today:
icks woke me up at 10.30am! we lazed around at home till after lunch then we cabbed to his hse and dropped joshua off along the way. we watched deck the halls but both of us were kinda dead though. yup so thats basically it.
