saturday:
was very very boring! went to town and did some stuff that needed to be done, ate fried rice in the clinic, met my mum then took a cab home with rachel. slept in the afternoon and sent rachel to the airport after dinner.
SHE IS GONE!!!
sunday:
went to church then met my family minus one in town. it felt more like a family with rachel gone...i looked at my sisters and my parents and we actually looked like a family! like no one could mistake rachel for my mother since she wasn't there. angelica spoke to me a lot more and natty is always fun to play with...i felt closer to my sisters with her gone. we did a whole lot of christmas shopping after lunch and boy was it tiring! my dad loves to chuck stuff into the basket, my mum loves to get distracted, angelica loves to whine ("can we go home noww!!") and natty loves to get lost. basically, my family is very disorganised and it drove me nuts!! i fell asleep as soon as we got home but i was rudely woken up by my mum who is a very demanding person! she needed some presents immediately so i had to suffer. some relatives came over for dinner cos my mum made popiah. i finished off my christmas cards and i really hope everyone gets them cos i'm not sure if i put the right stamps on them. icks finally figured out how to use his webcam! so we had a video conversation, yayers!!
today:
woke up at 9am then slept till 12.30pm when i finally dragged my sorry self out of bed. met icks in town at 2pm and we watched the holiday. after the movie, we walked and we walked and we walked some more. i bought yongs, carrot, thingOne and myself matching tops! its their christmas presents so next time we have our starbucks outing, we can all go matching! i also bought rara's present and i really really didn't know what to get so i figured that make up was the best solution. icks bought his mum and dad's presents and boy is he a fussy customer! had dinner at paragon then icks did some grocery shopping. the paragon taxi queue was massive!! it was the longest queue i have ever seen, my dad couldn't pick me up plus it was pourring and the phone lines for booking cabs were busy! i think there is something abt long taxi queues that makes me do strange things. icks asked if i wanted his dad to send me home and after looking at the queue for abt 5 minutes, i said yes! just before his dad came, he was shaking which made me even more nervous and i couldn't breathe! the whole time i was praying "please don't let me be seen in the rear view mirror!". yup so i am home now and very very tired!
